Hightower Reff Law client overview and blog results for content marketing case study from HurrdatChallenge: Blog Performance Plateau

Hightower Reff Law approached Hurrdat wanting to boost their online visibility and attract more clients. After reworking their sales and organic landing pages, our agency identified key opportunities to reoptimize their existing blog content as a supplement.

Solution: Reoptimize Top-Performing Content

This law firm already had a large catalogue of blog posts that were relevant to their practice areas. So, rather than starting with writing new posts from scratch, we recommended optimizing existing ones to prioritize quicker wins with less effort. Existing posts already had a foundation with indexed URLs, backlinks, traffic history, and ranking signals. Updating them with keywords, better structure, and fresh research could lead to faster SEO gains than publishing new content.

Our SEO team audited their blog to identify top-performing and high-potential posts that, if optimized, would help them build authority in their target practice areas. Hurrdat’s SEO Strategist, Aubrey Samson, further explains the team’s approach:

“As part of the process, we analyzed which keywords were already driving traffic and looked at current SERP visibility. We then researched high-volume keywords and common questions around each topic that weren’t being targeted yet. This helped us expand the content’s reach while keeping what was already working. We also updated outdated info, improved structure for SEO and readability, and added author attribution to build trust and highlight the firm’s legal expertise.”

Results: Significant Increase in Organic Clicks & Impressions

We updated three blog posts in February 2025. These were the overall results three months later.
